Anthem's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate includes small portions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, all harvested at the same time.

Red currant scents lead the way, but there are also herbal nuances (bay leaf) and some dark-cassis notes as well. It's full-bodied, concentrated and rich, slightly coarse in texture on the finish but long and flavorful.

Wine Advocate - 93 Points

The 2022 Merlot Estate comes from the property's original vines. It's gently herbal on the nose-a blend of thyme, sage and bay leaf-balanced by ripe cherries, while the medium- to full-bodied palate is round and supple, perhaps just slightly coarser-textured on the finish but in a good way, giving the wine the bit of texture needed to pair effectively with grilled beef.

The 2021 Anthem Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon opens with inviting aromas of black cherries and ripe currants, layered with hints of crushed graphite, violets before folding in subtle hints of loamy earth and warm spices which add wonderful complexity. The palate is medium to full and finely structured, with firm tannins supporting a core of dark fruit and mocha nuances which lingers through the finish. Excellent today, but also offers a promising graceful evolution with cellaring.

International Wine Report - 94 Points

2021 Anthem Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon: Rather dark in profile, with blackberry and boysenberry reduction notes wrapped in apple wood and licorice snap. The long, tarry finish offers cut and energy to match its density. The fruit flirts with heady, but the structure is so strident that it keeps this harnessed. Best from 2026 through 2037. 520 cases made.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las 2021 Piedras Vineyard St. Helena Rich and full bodied with abundant flavor, this wine dances across the palate with lavish flavors of spices, smoked chicory and cedar. It's lush and persistent, with fine tannins and juicy acidity. — Elaine Chukan Brown

Wine Enthusiast - 92 Points

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from Beckstoffer Las Piedras offers a wonderful combination of fresh ripe fruits accented by savory nuances. It begins with aromas of black cherries, raspberries and back plums, which are woven together with, tobacco, graphite, spices and hints of mocha that all carry on to the palate. This continues to impress with its medium-full body that is beautifully structured with polished tannins resulting in a gorgeous velvety texture. It is all underlined by a lovely layer of acidity that keeps it fresh and inviting through the finish. While this is certainly a pleasure to drink today, it should go on to evolve and offer
years of enjoyment ahead.

2019 Mt. Veeder Cabernet: Well-steeped in feel, with red tea, chaparral and mulling spice notes emerging from the core of winey red and black currant fruit. The finish is underscored by warm earth and cast iron accents. On the approachable side already, too. Drink now through 2034. 880 cases made.
